Binah: Jewish Learning Institute for Teens

Roots of Repairing: Understanding the evolution of Tikkun Olam (High School/RAC)
Before there was justice, there was tzedek. Join representatives of the Religious Action Center along with HUC-JIR rabbinical students and faculty as we explore the roots of Judaism’s commitment to repair the world. Discover why social justice is not just about being a good person, and how doing God’s work in our world is informed by Jewish theology. Over the course of the weekend we will explore various social issues in today’s world and the Jewish responses.

All participants are expected to participate in the entire event. Please contact nftyregistrar@urj.org with any questions or for more information.
