Mission
NFTY Central West is a membership based organization and a Reform Jewish teen community in Northern California, Utah, Nevada and Hawaii that helps Jewish teens connect to and explore their Judaism through music, in-depth discussions & programs, and creative prayer opportunities. Members of NFTY Central West participate in local temple youth group events and programs as well as region-wide weekends. At both the local and regional level, NFTY teens take part in educational and recreational activities. NFTY Central West provides a forum for Jewish teen leaders to help form and train future Jewish teen leaders. NFTY Central West serves as a regional teen voice in the national Reform Jewish movement.

Vision
The members of NFTY Central West envision a larger, cohesive Central West Reform Jewish teen community that values Central West tradition and is strongly involved in tikkun olam.
