Dear Extended Board Applicant,
Mazel Mazel, reading this letter is the first step to becoming an even greater leader within NFTY-CWR! Becoming a member of NFTY-CWR Extended Board is not only an amazing way to get more involved in NFTY, but also a great chance to get your feet wet in regional leadership.
There are 8 positions available, each with their own unique responsibilities (see attached job descriptions). As an extended board member, you will work closely with the regional board and experience what regional leadership is all about. The goal of extended board is to provide you with the opportunity to grow as a leader, as well as a chance to contribute significantly to the region.
While each position is a lot of work, they are integral to the success of the region. NFTY CWR values leadership very highly, and upholds the extended board to similar expectations as the regional board. Some of these expectations include:
- Attending every regional event
- Fulfilling positions responsibilities as outlined
- Assisting the regional board
- Serving as a positive role model and upholding the Brit Kehilla
In order to apply, it is required that you fill out the following application. Please be descriptive and answer the questions fully and to the best of your ability. The Regional Board spends a lot of time reviewing each application and will base their decisions on them. Leadership comes from experience, and Extended Board is a great way to get that experience. It is a wonderful opportunity, and we cannot wait to read your applications!
