So to those of you who don’t know what the Regional Caravan is, it might be because it hasn’t been well publicized.  Caravanning is when a regional board member comes to a TYG event to support the youth group, promote NFTY, and encourage members of that youth group to attend regional events.  The way it works: the Regional Board passes around sheets on which TYGs write down the events that they would like Regional Board members to attend.  We, the Regional Board, try to attend as many of these events as possible, because after all, what is NFTY without the TYGs.  Because there are so many TYGs and so few of us, usually we can only get one Reg Bo member at an event, but hey, we do our best.  Once the Extended board is established, they will participate in this process as well.

So if this sounds like something you would like your TYG to be a part of, score(!) – talk to me or one of the other Reg Bo members, and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
