The JBG Awards are awards for MVP’s and only MVP’s throughout our region.  JGB stands for Jacob Bishop-Green, the CWR MVP in 2003-2004, who created these awards, to be passed along the generations of CWR.  So it looks like people will remember his name until the end of time because of these awards.  I’m not jealous… Maybe I don’t want there to be a JRC award.  Ever think of that?  Yea, that’s what I thought.  Sorry about that.  Anyway, without further adieu, “Mixed Nuts” and “The Blender” as Jake presented them in his network packet three years ago.

Mixed Nuts:  Increase of attendance on the regional level, from CMC to MTC.

“This award will follow your TYG’s attendance on the Regional Level.  If your TYG has the biggest increase in attendance from CMC to MTC, you get this award.  It’s pretty straight forward, not a lot to it.  But it is something that would look really cool on the wall of your temple.”

The Blender:  Best Original Mixer

“This is one for just MVP’s.  Starting at CMC you will be able to submit mixers that you’ve come up with (between the Regional Board and I, we know all the ones that have been used before, so be original).  You can submit up to two mixers until Spring Conclave.  From the ones submitted, the Regional Board will sit down before MTC and find the one that we thought was the best.  The MVP that submitted the mixer will be invited to then lead their mixer at MTC in front of the entire region.  I think this is a fun one, for you and me.  So start submitting your mixers.  I can’t wait to see them.”
