Welcome 7th and 8th Graders and Parents!

The NFTY-GER 7th and 8th grade event is taking place May 16th-18th and is open to all students in grades 7 through 8 who are members of Union for Reform Judaism affiliated congregations in the region (New Jersey and parts of New York).

Do you have a 7th or 8th grader joining us (or considering joining us) for our 7th and 8th grade NFTY-GER event in May? If so, this page will have all kinds of resources and contact information should you have have any questions! On the sidebar of this website, there is a tab with Event Registration and Information. Head there for the specifics of the event. It's password protected so either click "request username or password" or contact your Congregation for the information.

If you are unsure if your Congregation is located in this region or if you are interested in being connected with a youth group/congregation, Pamela Schuller (pschuller@urj.org), NFTY GER Regional Director, is happy to answer your questions and help you get registered.

Ready to Register?

Registration for our 7th and 8th grade event! Click here!

  1. When you begin registration you will be prompted to create your own personal username and password. Make sure you save that information. It will save you lots of time in registering for future events.
  2. Fill out the registration and pay with a credit card online. You should receive an e-mail confirmation directly after you hit send.
  3. Need help or have questions about registering for the 7th/8th grade event? Contact our NFTY Registrar, Aliza! She is wonderful and always willing to help. You can reach her at nftyregistrar@urj.org or at 212-650-4130

HEALTH FORM INFORMATION: Make sure that within one week of registering, you submit the NFTY health authorization form. It just requires the signature of the participant, a parent signature, and a congregation staff members signature. From there, you can scan and send it to pschuller@urj.org or upload it back into your registration file. The rest of the health and safety form information is now collected during registration.

Please note that this form is different from the medical form submitted for the URJ Camps, NFTY in Israel programs, NFTY-EIE High School in Israel and Mitzvah Corps and therefore a NFTY form is still required for those teens who attended those programs this past summer. It does not require a physical or doctor’s signature, but it does require congregational certification from your clergy, educator, or youth advisor.
