Aliza Gazek is excited to serve as your NFTY President this year! A Californian through and through, she lived in LA till the ripe age of five, has inhabited Santa Cruz in Northern California ever since, and is now attending Stanford University--also in Northern California! Previously, Aliza enjoyed a year as the President of NFTY Central West Region and two years as the Social Action Vice President of SRFY at Temple Beth El in Aptos. Aliza appreciates all of her humorous and loving family members as well her extended family in NFTY. She loves taking photographs in the sunshine, playing in grass when there's no fear of ticks, and cooking up creations in the kitchen. Aliza has spent three fantastic summers at Kutz, one semester nestled in the beautiful Judean Hills on EIE, and one fun summer in Vancouver for the JCC Maccabi Games. She looks forward to returning to Canada this year to see you at the URJ Biennial in Toronto and hopes that you'll be in touch about anything and everything throughout the year!
