NFTY North American Board Meetings

The General Board of NFTY consists of the regional leadership from the 19 NFTY regions, and is coordinated under the direction of the 5 NFTY North American Board members. The General Board convenes twice yearly. The first meeting is called Mechina. It is held in June at the URJ Kutz Camp, and is an intensive leadership development program to help regional boards prepare for their upcoming year as a regional leader. The second meeting, the NFTY Veida, occurs each February, and runs concurrent with NFTY Convention on convention years, and is held at the URJ Kutz Camp on non-convention years. At both gatherings, the General Board meets to continue the holy work of our movement. After each of these meetings, the NFTY Board compiles a report from the assefot (plenary sessions), including all new resolutions, recommendations and ammendments. Those resources are then made available here on the NFTY website.
