On February 15-18, 2008, NFTY held it's annual business meeting, the NFTY Veida, at the Kutz Campus in Warwick, NY. Representatives from all 19 NFTY Regions attended to do the holy work of NFTY; passing resolutions, deciding upon the new Study and Action Themes, and electing the NFTY Board for 5768-5769.

NFTY Adopts New Constitution

Following months of tedious work modifying our constitution to truly reflect the needs and visions of our constituents, the NFTY North American Board presented a revised Constitution to the General Board of NFTY, which was adopted, Article by Article, unanimously. Of note is the new Preamble, which outlines the thirteen principles on which NFTY stands, and a myriad of policy and procedural changes throughout. A hearty kol hakavod to Zach, Ben Mookie, Ivy and Emily for chaning the future of NFTY through their work and dedication on this monumental project! This is the only major constitutional review and revise that has taken place in NFTY's almost seventy-year history.
