Living NFTY:
NFTY responds to actual, virtual and viral bullying, teasing and harassment.
Recently, increased numbers of teens have been affected by bullying, cyber-bullying, teasing and harassment online and in schools across North America. As part of NFTY’s ongoing Living NFTY initiative, to address issues most important to teens, we have assembled a collection of resources on bullying, including information about helplines, public service announcements, ways to get involved in eradicating bullying in your community, programmatic resources, and more. We have also included resources on the Jewish perspectives on Tochecha, or rebuke, our Jewish obligation to tell another individual when they have done something wrong, on Teshuva, repentance, when one behaves in a way that is hurtful to another, and Selicha, forgiveness, and our understanding that forgiveness for a sin against another human being does not come from God, but from the person we have hurt.

NFTY will not sit idly by regarding all issues relating to bullying, teasing and harassment. We will continue to add resources for you to use in your TYGs, congregations, and beyond the walls of our Jewish community.
