Shalom and welcome to NFTY's Mid-Atlantic Region! NFTY-MAR brings together Reform Jewish Teens from North Carolina, eastern West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware and far-eastern Tennessee. Our members come together at many times during the year for learning, fun, worship, community service, and fellowship to help young Jewish adults throughout the region build and strengthen lifetime ties with each other and Reform Judaism.

Make sure you log in and sign up today!  Winter Kallah December 26-29, 2008 at Capital Camps and Retreat Center in Waynesboro, PA is sure to be one of the most dynamic events of the year.  Your regional board and the amazing winter kallah co-chairs have been hard at work for months on programming, services and fun that will entertain and engage you, perhaps even make you think in ways you have never thought before.

Make sure you have paid your TYG Dues and then sign up today to make sure THE LIGHTS DON'T GO OUT...

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW POSTED FOR MAJYK!

Mid-Atlantic Junior Youth Kalah (MAJYK) is the first opportunity for our middle school teens to experience NFTY first-hand. This weekend event follows traditional NFTY-MAR schedules and offers our 7th and 8th graders a taste of NFTY. Participants will experience creative, camp style services, informal programs in a fun and relaxed environment and meet people from all around our region. MAJYK is an opportunity for friends from camp to reunite, youth groups to travel together and for individuals to find a place unlike anything they have experienced.

PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL OF THE 7th and 8th graders at your congregations know about MAJYK.  This event is an incredible way for them to connect to the Jewish community and begin understanding your TYGs and the region!

As always we recognize and value our adult staff, chaperones, advisors and parents.  We know NFTY-MAR regional events would not be possible without your support.  When your congregation has seven or more teens participating in a regional event, a staff member from your congregation is required.  If you are planning to join us at NFTY-MAR's MAJYK December 5-7, 2008 at Beth El Hebrew Congregation please complete the staff application and submit it via e-mail, fax or mail... I look forward to receiving your application in the regional office by November 23, 2008!
