Amy Nicotra - President
Hi! My name is Amy Nicotra and I am honored to serve as your 2011-2012 NFTY-SAR President. I live in Jacksonville, Florida and I am a senior at Fleming Island High School. Last year, I served as your SAVP and Co-Director of Camp Jenny which I enjoyed and cherished very much. I have been a proud Camp Colemanite for 5 years and attended The Kutz Camp in the regional board major last summer. This past summer I ventured off to Economics Camp and Girls State (Government Camp) as well as Mechina Regional Board Training at The Kutz Camp. I have been obsessed with NFTY ever since 8th grade when I attended my first event. When I’m not working on NFTY-related things or attending events, I’m talking to my NFTY friends, eating, shopping, working at the YMCA, or ballroom dancing. I enjoy lying out at the beach and relaxing in a yoga class. NFTY-SAR has given me 5 years of laughter, tears, and memories and I am beyond excited to continue giving back to the region. Feel free to contact me via Facebook, text message, phone call, or e-mail at sar-president@nfty.org. I’m always looking for new ideas in the region and to meet new people! I can’t wait for an amazing year with you! |

Preston Neimeiser - RCVP
My name is Preston Neimeiser, proud to your NFTY-SAR 2011 – 2012 Religious and Cultural Vice President (RCVP). For starters, here is a little about myself. I’m going into my senior year at Leon high school of Tallahassee, Florida, and I grew up as a URJ Camp Coleman kid; joining NFTY– SAR’s family during my eighth grade year through my home TYG TASTY at Hatikvah Kallah. I served as the ninth grade representative for my TYG, and during the summer of my ninth grade year (The summer of 5769 or 2009), I attended the URJ Kutz Leadership camp and participated in the song leading track. I was the RCVP of TASTY during my sophomore year (5769 – 5770) and the president my junior year (5770 – 5771). During the fall semester of my junior year, I had a life-changing experience on NFTY-EIE High School in Israel. Feel free to ask me anything about myself or my experiences anytime! As your NFTY – SAR RCVP I have a few responsibilities to you: to make fun, interactive, meaningful services, to always be available for any questions you may have about NFTY – SAR, Judaism, Life, art, music, or anything else you’re just plain curious about (if I don’t have the answer I know somebody who does), and to be in charge of those lovely NFTY – SAR song leaders of yours. In my spare time I enjoy writing, reading, listening to and playing music, NFTY, sleeping, meditating, teaching, torah, and long romantic walks on the beach. If you ever need ANYTHING, feel free to contact me. I’m on Facebook, twitter, email, skype and you can text me anytime. |
Steven Kufert - MCVP
Hey there awesome NFTYites! My name is Steven Kufert and I am NFTY-SAR’s Regional Membership and Communications Vice President. I am 17 years old, 18 in February, and have the awesome freedom of being a part of the TYG LIBERTY. I subside in the land called Charlotte of the place of North Carolina. I go to Myers Park High School, a huge school that despite its 3000 students still lacks all the people I need, you NFTYites! I am infatuated with NFTY and can’t ever get enough of it!!! Give me a pool and a diving board and I can be busy for hours doing what I love, diving! I also just love playing sports in general, whether it is football, frisbee, basketball, swimming, or mixers (oh yeah, some mixers are so crazy they might as well be sports!) I enjoy talking with friends or just random people I meet. What I live by is that you should do what you want and not let people influence you. Life is too short for you to waste it on things you don’t want to do or waste your life period worrying about what others will think. My absolute favorite thing is talking to people and I would love to hear from you! Please call me if you need some general NFTY, NFTY-SAR, or TYG information. Of course, you can always call me if you just want to talk to someone. As a matter of fact, I will probably be talking to you sometime this year anyways, or at least I hope so :D! |
