Hello everyone! My name is Shayna Bannister and I cannot convey how ecstatic I am to serve as your NFTY-SAR President for the term of 2010-2011/5770-5771. I reside in the suburbs of Columbia, SC and am a senior at Lexington High School. Throughout the year I play soccer, participate in choir, nanny, and am an active member of COFTY. Since my eighth grade year I have participated in my TYG. My freshman year I was elected as CVP, and then President for my sophomore and junior years of COFTY. At my religious school, I have taught Hebrew school for the past three years. This past summer I attended URJ Kutz Camp and am eager to share my new found knowledge with NFTY-SAR. Amy Nicotra - SAVP
Hey NFTY-SAR! I'm Amy Nicotra and I am honored to be your Social Action Vice President for the 2010-2011/ 5770-5771 year! I live in Jacksonville, Florida and am a Junior at Fleming Island High School in the AICE Cambridge Academy. Camp Jenny is a passion of mine and I look forward to leading NFTY-SAR in a year full of fundraisers and encouragement in the application process. For five blissful summers, I have attended URJ Camp Coleman in the rocky hills of Cleveland, Georgia. This year, I have been selected as a Kutz Ambassador and will be enjoying spending my summer at Kutz Camp in Warwick, New York. My love for NFTY has been going strong ever since my first Hatikvah Kallah in 8th grade. I take pride in my local TYG, JAFTY, where I served on the General Board last year. Outside of the Jewish community, I enjoy being active in National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society), Youth Leadership Jax, H.O.B.Y.- North Florida, and Teen Court/ Mock Trial. When I am separated from my NFTY friends, I enjoy ballroom dancing, shopping, eating, and talking to my NFTY friends! Maddy Frumkin - RCVP
Shalom! My name is Maddy Frumkin, and I am so excited to be your 5770-5771/2010-2011 Religious and Cultural Vice President! I am a senior at Providence High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, despite my ridiculous amount of absences due to NFTY events. When I'm not "studying" for AP classes or doing something NFTY related, I enjoy singing, nature adventuring, tie-dying, and long chats with interesting people. I also love spending my summers in Warkwick, NY at URJ Kutz Camp [you should go, it's awesome]. Perri Nitzberg - MCVP
Yo Yo Yiggity Yo! I’m Perri Shoshana Nitzberg. I am a senior at Pope High School in Marietta, GA and I will be NFTY-SAR MCVP this upcoming year. My basic Jewish background consists of the following activities: 7 years of attendance at URJ Camp Coleman, 2 years serving on KEFTY TYG board, traveling to Israel with NFTY in Israel, as well as being an active member of NFTY-SAR for 4 years. In my spare time I enjoy tossing around the lacrosse ball, going to Panera Bread Company (every Tuesday baby!), sipping on smoothies, making friendship bracelets <3, playing with my food baby, traveling to places far far away, and JAMMING.
